So the spanking new Samsung phone, Galaxy Look alike with the new operating system Tizen designed specially for India, coupled with the new wave of phone apps are being launched as we speak.. to make phone calls more reliable and cheaper, much cheaper in fact than what was possible only a few months ago.
Rango in particular is a great calling new player that, coupled with the new phone, would be the one to look at.
Imagine this, new Samsung Phone for $99 and a calling rate of 1 Indian Rupee to any mobile and landline in China, USA etc,.. what else would could you ask for
One Indian Rupee is worth 2c.
And the beauty of this is, you don't have to worry what network you work on 2G,3G, or 4G. these products available now and they don't have to go through testing etc. Not another 6 month time.
Why I am saying this you ask me.... I tell you:
ZipTel was focused in Viber and whatssapp etc when comparing ZipT to others in the markets, but the new wave of innovations are more ruthless in cutting cost and providing service for next to nothing. ZipTel management and stakeholders must forgo the old formula and adapt to the new reality very very quickly.
