It's a trading pick based on his system solely on price action... it's regardless of value/fundamentals. The system as I understand it goes for stocks in strong bull trends, ie. multi-year highs --> consolidation --> daily pivot --> break of daily pivot --> buy on open the next morning. Since it is in a major newspaper and that Alan Morley (the columnist) runs seminars to teach traders on how to pick stocks, I think it is widely followed... just look out when the stop loss is hit - can dive quickly and you can buy cheap stock :D
