AUD going up is a tailwind not headwind. It crossed over 67.5 cents last night on its way to 70 cents then 80 cents. Point to point same level as last year. Yet 10% improvement on H1 which is worth nearly a $4m in NPAT boost alone.

John Joyce has been clear Dusk manages to GP dollar not to %. Thats a fundamentally sound approach. Using GP % brings complexity. As Dusk is vertically integrated it knows end to end what $ it will make on sell through.

Read Barrenjoey report and they have torched GP to build out there projection without clarity and failing to note GP $ and rising AUD. No point being an analyst and being wrong if costs you your job. Beat and raise mentality.

Markets are forward looking. Its already in the price all these points being raised by critics and what thus years NPAT will be. It's actually meaningless to finnese over a narrow yawn.

what matters is what will Dusk look like at 300 stores. 300 * 100k NPAT per store is 30m NPAT. Stores were doing 150k NPAT per store so not unreasonable.

DESTINATION as investor Nick Sleep would say matters more.
