    1suntzu,

Well a few reasons exist. When I had drilling done, there were a few causes for me.

One was we reached max drill rig depth, another time deviation started.

There was a fair bit of deviation on hole 5 for example and it started at 600m, which is 1000m on hole 10 as it started back more west. At that location is approx 300m deeper.

It could also have ended in mineral. We pulled up in mineral also, with plans to go deeper when we had worked out the level we stoped at.

If they did hit porphyry, no point going more I think as goal achieved.

Youd extend btdd001 another 300m to scissor btdd010 at around 950m. Or plonk a drill straight down the wall rock at the same angle at btdd001, youd scissor Btdd004 at the 400m then, and at 1000m would get close to btdd010.

Hole 10, at 1000m sits under define wallrock zone, and at 720m to 980m goes though interpreted target zone.

It was reported high mo at the 485m area too. Phyllic alteration noted.

On your hypothesis. I go option 2.

Retail investors, are often short term, and most would not have a clue on what porphyry means or even the cu shortage later.

This group is also under 12 months timing, and maybe closer to 3 to 6 months.

Then you have group 2, copper sector focused, know the defecits are around the corner and know you need to bed down for a few years and let it play out.

This group are 1 to 5 year holders

If retail dont like, group 1, group 2 will happily take there shares.

On group 2. They are the top 20 with 38% of Spq, looking at the 2020 top 20, mostly same holders as today.

Sp back then was 0.3 to sub 1.5c. So many of the top holders are already on 1000% gains and just sit and most likely have topped up.

Based on tight trade, I'd not be surprised to see 50% in the top 50 atleast.

If so to get qty, one will have to pay the price or settle with scraps.

Its not going to be long until the copper supply goes to the sh*t. 2 days global supply and that ***** article I posted stated resources only increased as cut off lowered.

Nothing new found at all to do it. Then the 150b needs to be spent and 8 new escondida mines need to come online the next 10 years.

what happens if we don't find 10? It is possible we do not. Answer those holding decent copper in the ground, will get picked off at very high prices.

So for Spq, porphyry discovery will greatly de risk today.
At the moment it's just a hope, but it will be real then and we then think how big versus is or is it not there.
