I don't think reports, updates on bottletree delayed due to jvs, financing.
The reason for delay is to analyse all results and come to a conclusion on all.
If the delay was due to jv, money that would be a breach of disclosure completely.
Ie. Jvs were not on the cards when delays started, also if others were privy to data the market was not, insider info.
That comes from a mate very high up at the ATO, who works in with Asic on compliance.
So it's results solely.
Why?
Hole 10 finalised first week in Dec. As that was pre Christmas, delays at lab. Also January as many on leave.
So hole 10 should have been completed, assayed, first week Feb yo mid feb. Around now.
Dr Corbett, to me would gave needed to visualise hole 10 cores. So that puts Dr Corbett at mid Feb approx doing that
Geologists site inspect, same there, around mid Feb if in fact assays final mid Feb.
He may have analysed prior holes, to 10, but I am sure he would 10 as mentioned later.
Peter I doubt would release without Dr corbetts report.
So taking above into consideration, Peter may still be awaiting Dr corbetts report.
So to me news on bottletree would be last week in February.
If a jv, seperate as mentioned above, after the bottletree results.
Cr, do not know. Limited exploration next 6 weeks, so could occur after bottletree and jvs.
Jv could include a cash component, putting a cr into mid year, or 3rd quarter also.
Depends what results are, proof exists great deposits command premiums. CHN, DEG, CXO.
But they appear to not be instant within a needed cr time frame.
This is the beauty of exploration. We could get 500m @ 0.5%, 500m@. 2%, 100m @ 5%.
Or better or worse.
But the important thing is, the campaign done rules in and out things and will get us a porphyry now, or much closer to it next time.
We just want advancement towards the end goal basically.
Copper shortages will not occur just yet, when they do, it will most likely be a decade.
So no rush in fitting into that for the hold, long term investors. Maybe not for the short termers.
