understand the frustration with trying to piece together what is going on from an irregular and incomplete information flow. i'm sure we would all like to see better quality reporting from Lindian however the reality is that commercialisation negotiations are a daily activity for resource companies and in themselves are not material, whereas the legally enforceable outcomes and agreements as a result of negotiations can be. The desires of shareholders to have more information to help their investment decisions really dont figure these days for management in resource companies against the myriad of constraints, controls and obligations that come with doing business these days.
Personally, i pay no attention to company information that says parties are starting, stoppping, re-commencing or whatever discussions - its like them saying they are having lunch just because they have nothing else to say or they are trying to give the impression that something is cooking. What i do look at is quality of the resource, concept development and economics when available, market outlook, financing reqts and country factors - if these stars stack up then sooner or later the resource will be commercialsed. We only have a very few pieces of the jigsaw in front of us right now which while frustrating is the risk (and fun) we take when investing.
