Whilst gold and silver have obvious appeal and always have, in coal, big is beautiful and this reserve is starting to tick the boxes, with low moisture, shallow seams and plenty of them.
It is true it will take a while to get to the market but, with 400 years coal reserves worldwide, the market is not going away in hurry. This accounts for all the alternatives that cannot get near coal on the cost/economics scale.
If there is a suitor out there, let them stump up enough cash to make it worthwhile, in the meantime, a mining model going forward is not going to cost a lot of money and although I will never get back what NMR owes me, it is a hell of a lot better prospect than it was a few months ago.
