History will record the Sirtex trial as a failure due to no overall survival improvements. The only advantage from these trials was the overall comfort of patients being better than traditional treatments. Is this enough to realise higher dosage sales? No its not! Its very difficult for an investor to believe in the Sirtex story now or is there another twist to this story which has only been partly told! I sense there is.
