Defence contracts and politicians hey. Its a dirty business but a very lucrative one for those contractors that can get their foot in the door and deliver consistently.
Austal must be a considered a serious and rising threat to the established naval contractors over there to have to resort to lobbying a senior congressman. Good signs.
I can only see Austal getting stronger from here.
