Answer to first box is yes. We need to know the sequence is being intersected as per prognosis and we need to know whether the "telltale" "shows" are being intersected in the shallower sequence. The progress of the drilling also has a material impact on NWEs cash balance.
Answer to second box is no. The information they obtain at the well site is definitive - the units intersected and thicknesses, the gas shows, the oil shows, drilling breaks - all of these are definitive.
All you need to do is ask ASX to look at the announcements NWE made during LD-1 - Look at the ASX announcements made by STX for WE. ----------------------------------------------------- Additionally, there may be a breach of Corp law relating to NWE board frustrating continual disclosure obligations due to conflicts arising in a takeover situation. i.e they're not giving us info, so we can be intimidated or coerced into selling our shares into the takeover. Thats an ASIC issue.
