NicKed - are COP booking a loss or a profit on sale? Is the offer low ball when you consider the forward contracts held by COP Senegal B.V.?

Agree COP agreement to sell to WPL looks like they want out and as I said it would be very odd if they used their PE rights given the story so far - so you agree with me there.

But they are not out yet so they would have the technical right to PE until they are out - that is just a statement of fact. Everyone is saying that they don't know why COP are holding out on FAR, maybe after the improved 2C following the new drilling they are getting cold feet on the deal with WPL....maybe they are changing their mind on SNE potential and looking at their options through a legal game played with FAR complicity till the next round of drilling completes in the next few months - if connectivity good go with FAR , if drilling shows poor connectivity proceed to sell a confirmed dud to WPL?
