Last minute is sometime is early June when the clock runs out on the PE for the ONGC deal.
Assuming Lukoil or another party trumps the PE deal before the meeting with a binding proposal, then there is time for a counter proposal to come in. Woodside would still have PE rights over a new proposal so I wouldn't expect a counter proposal from them.
Then what? My guess another shareholder meeting in a couple of weeks and repeat the cycle, unless a 3rd party comes in.
