You are quite correct, I got a couple of wires crossed, and of course WPL do not have PE rights over take-over.
This is good news of course, because WPL can't sit on the sidelines if Lukoil pony up with a binding offer. They will have to provide a bid if they want to get of of FAR's interest in this case. With a bit of luck we will get a 6 week auction period. It all depends on Lukoil coming up with a binding proposal before April's shareholder meeting.
