    Ahh, Wink.... the great life. I have similar memories of Survival Land. Strawberries and other fruit, and tomotaoes actually had taste then.

    A couple of generations do not know what it is to drink warm frothy full-cream milk straight from the farmyard cow... or to savor the texture of freshly-made warm bread doused with extravirgin olive oil or butter.

    For some of us lucky ones who can only feast on relished memories...the ritual is a little different now....

    An electric rotisserie for the bean roasting, and the Breville makes the bread every couple of days at the touch of a button...and I must say to its credit....much better, crustier and cheaper ($1 per loaf) than the supermarkets/bakeries.
