My guess is the multi trillion dollar 'bailout' to big companies and high net worth individuals in the States is just flooding the US stock market. Interest rates are non existant and the value of the US buck is beggining to free fall. Australia hasnt done the same (gladly). There will be a day of reckoning for the US investor, unfortunately we'll all suffer as a consequence. The pirates of the US fed might not have money trees but they got magical money machines.
