• Pepp
The Group continued to build on the brand name of Pepp, both locally and internationally. Distribution rights were given to partners in Middle East, Europe and Asia after evaluating these partners’ marketing capabilities. Pepp is gaining strong inroad at the retail level.
Pepp is a natural enzyme-based health supplement containing alcohol dehydrogenase, manufactured from a bio-fermantation process. It has been clinically proven to be able to reduce alcohol levels and hangover symptons. Packaged in blister packs of 2’s, 6’s and 10’s orange-flavoured chewable tablets, Pepp is marketed as a lifestyle health product aimed at the drinking community.
Distribution in China: Following the Group’s execution of a distribution agreement with Sandoz to market Pepp hangover remedy in China on 20 December 2007, it has
completed the first shipment of Pepp to China.
Sandoz China is the Group’s appointed exclusive marketer and distributor for Pepp in China. Under this agreement, Sandoz China will be marketing Pepp to various channels
of distribution which will include medical and drug store chains as well as convenient stores in key cities of Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai.
Pepp will be introduced into China as a food product under this newly signed agreement. Both parties will continue to work on obtaining registration approval for Pepp to be
marketed as a health supplement with the SFDA.
