Of course there is no chance of EXS paying by end of October. This was never guaranteed just an indicative timeline which EXS hoped would give the ATO enough time to consider the capital return and get back to them.
Once they have the ATO ruling they need to call a meeting which will require 1mth minimum.
They have not asked the ATO to hold fire that is ridiculous and unfounded.
Noellyn is spot on. The risk of TO is more like after they go ex-div but due to the blocking stakes there is next to no chance in the near term.
