Nice find, Smilez. One of Dr. Wang and Prof Trau's students, Tianyuan Jia, is also currently working on a project for them called "Effects of Gold Nanoparticles on PCR and Application towards Multiplex Amplicon Detection"...
Interestingly this is all in-vitro work and from what I've heard we were focused on in-vivo with UQ. Maybe there is more happening with them than previously mentioned, or maybe it was already on-going and I just missed it. Agree, none of it substantiated, but hard to walk by the 'mix-to-go' reference.
