It is a mistake looking at oil as an entity without paying due respects to Uranium.
And as Oil gets depleted, panic calls for more nuclear facilities.
Besides, Apart from France, Europe depends much on Russia re energy requirements and once people have had a tilt at windmills, they realize that as to base loads, Uranium can't be beaten.
That is the big picture, IMHO.
