The source of the uranium is the granite and pegmatite intrusive and that is what the airborne survey measured.
The contact zones between the schist and the intrusive is also enriched in uranium because the graphite is strong reductant.
This is typical and explains why the assays show negligible uranium. To suggest otherwise is mischievous at best.
