    I think (I'm not totally sure how this is done) that all rods of uranium are stamped and numbered, on there expiry date, they have to be collected and disposed of through a registered RECOGNISED body, who will then document the stamp, number & location of the rod.

    From what I have read in the past (really half hearted actually, therefore my memory of it, is somewhat vague) it's a pretty thorough and fool proof system.

    I don't believe for a second that any Country that Australia would deal with, would use those rods for any other means than for power. Especially a Country that may sell them to Iran as an example, the bigger picture will always outway any chance of greed with U.
