Looking again at John's report to us on 28 May , the 2,500m of air-core drilling at Bundey River is well underway at present.
The drilling fragments will be tested by the supervising geo for signs of radioactivity significantly higher than the background count. Assays will ,of course, take their usual delayed time, but the geo can estimate from the scintillometer tests over the drill fragments roughly how many ppm of uranium there is likely to be present. Usually, this will be reliable within + or - 15%. Just to assist you if we get given some parts per million results: 10,000 ppm equals one per cent. One per cent U3O8 would have an in the ground value of $A1,400 per tonne with the price based on $US60 per pound. Conix
