If Russia is a uranium importer - what is the likelihood of Russia continuing the megawatts for megatons program with the US ? I take this as a sign that the likelihood is slim to none. Could be wrong - just my read of it. On the face of it you could reasonably assume that nuclear arsenals of both the States and the US are approaching strategic levels and Russia is unlikely to be inclined to contiuyne with the current deal. Any further reduction in stockpiles would presumably be put to domestic use rather than sent overseas. This would appear to support that.

Nuclear's popularity as an energy source is reaching historical highs. Bill Gates is pouring billions into research for viable smaller reactors. All points torevitalised nuclear industry and all else being equal improving supply and demand fundamentals for uranium in my view. Nicely timed perhaps for some further positive news out of BMN - that would be nice.

BMN requires some serious lessons in PR.
