Thanks for sharing. This one has been around for a year now. It quite good. Its surprisingly not full anti the mining as you’d think and has a few people outlining the for and against the mine.
In brief they had a local political representative in support and I think an ex Minister of Minerals local who seemed uncertain/anti. But felt the mine would most likely proceed. The rest were locals suggesting either way.
Overall they all confirmed around 50/50 split on the matter exists in the township overall. Something I think would be considerably swayed if reassured with further insight on the operation standards and benefits for the community was given. The upcoming SIA should offer them this as that’s what its primarily for
