Yes and as it goes I was watching a program on ABC 1 about 4am this morning and on it The Catylst.
Featured an interview about Uranium waste, Uranium Phosphate and a mine up near Swan Hill in victoria. There working out ways in Melbourne physic labs how to store Uranium in Uranium Phosphate, as its apparently the only place in the world (so far) where uranium is stored in the ground but is not contimanating anything! Its quite remarkable and has scienctiests worldwide visiting them and the mine has been operating since 1930's with uranium in the phosphate but its not harmful to anyone!!
