    Yak, there is no block to uranium mining from the Federal Government - the three mines policy was removed in 1996. It is only at the state/territory level that any problems exists. South Aus and NT are seemingly pro, Qld and WA against. In very simple terms that is the answer to your query. (very simple terms)
