just to add to that.... I saw a tv show a few months back after the Japanese disaster showing an active Thorium reactor in India where they were pouring a stream of thorium into the reactor. As soon as they stopped the stream, the reaction stopped. If it wasn't for the yanks in the 60's wanting bombs, this is what would be used today...and no Fukushima. But there are now 100's of U reactors that countries are now dependent on for their base power, and that have a long way to go before they return their investment. Great to go from oil to solar, uranium to thorium, etc, but unless we can harness a few million Bob Brown's on bicycles then U has a few decades yet.

Of course we can all sell our shares when the price hits 3c as predicted by some of those happy TOE holders
