Actually, a very accountable record,, and a worthwhile read is US DoE's Analysis recently released as part of the their DOE transfer RFI. It poses some hypothetical models that take into account various transfer scenarios as well as some supply/demand modelling over the next decade or more.
To be honest  I havent read it all, but one thing that is assumes in some models is a calculation that some producers will ramp up while others close down, but if a majority of miners cant turn a buck in this climate, then there's going to have to be more mines put into maintenance mode, and a cut back in exploration funding.

They rightly point out the steady inventory build up in China too.
