"Australia leading the way" on nuclear? You need to get out of your information bubble.
New Jersey generates 43.5% of it's energy from nuclear, France 70%, and there are plenty more.
Queensland and Western Australia wont even let you build a mine for purely export, in the middle of the bloody desert.
No, Australia is not a leader in any way on nuclear.
