Good point Sabre. Nuclear power plants take 10 years to build and have a 15 to 20 year period between new designs. Solar thermal plants take 15 months to build and can be modified during construction. You might also like this link to energy comparisons, which equates the energy in a tonne of U235 to 2.3 million tonnes of coal and 12 million barrels of oil.
