REEFTON Mining will soon again be chasing the commodity that led to its spectacular fall from grace last year, with the company announcing today it has been granted an exploration licence for the Badja uranium project in Western Australia.
The Badja project area, located 30km south of Yalgoo, covers 205 square kilometres and is said to contain a palaeochannel with uranium-bearing potential.
Shares in Reefton climbed 0.8c (21.1%) to 4.6c in late afternoon trading.
