If they have commercial quantities of Uranium at Wilgar and the south west corner as Conix has suggested it could be a nice earner at the end of the 10 year high grade copper mine.
"If" a commercial JORC & DFS is established you will be looking at a minimum 7 years to get a Uranium mining licence issued in QLD according to the radio interview i listened to in the car today- Makes sense seeing it took 6 years for a copper and cobalt licence.
The restrictions on the size of the tailing's dam are going to be an issue as Rocklands proably doesnt have enough sterile ground maybe it could go on the New EPM beside QMN ? and they also have to be able to store waste product for 10000 years.
I think upgrading the copper plant to 10mt p/a is a higher priority than uranium mining at Rocklands.
