As I expected ,the Queensland Government has come out post the Federal election with a statement on Uranium mining.
The Queensland Government's focus is to ensure all the uranium specific regulatory guidelines are in place to begin assessing applications from mid July 2014.
The Queensland Government released its strategy yesterday and aims to hand approval power to the Federal Government.
The wheels of government move ever so slowly but at long last there is movement. Time will tell whether handing over the approval process will mean more delay.
The implication for CuDeco relates to the mining of Wilgar and what may be found in the very much larger south west corner anomaly .
It has been my belief that Uranium has been an impediment to the mining of Wilgar where only shallow drilling has occurred.
It has been a slow process getting to this point but at least progress is being made.
