China 150 new reactors and France are well covered already. I cut them of my copy and paste for a little focus else where"United States Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm reportedly told an audience at COP26 that the US is “all in on nuclear” as part of its clean electricity plans.
There are also business A-listers throwing their weight behind nuclear power. Through firms TerraPower and PacifiCorp, billionaires Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are championing a type of advanced small modular reactor (SMR) known as a “fast” Natrium reactor.
Even the UN is throwing its support behind SMRs and advanced reactor technology, lauding its benefits in a recent technology brief (PDF)." link
Germany is in my thoughts, a key area where a back flip back to Nuclear will change the game "It's too risky, too slow and too expensive," Germany says — while other EU members have pushed for the bloc to classify nuclear power as eco-friendly for investors."

While that is true the goals they have to 2030 and 2050 are shakey at best "Germany's phase-out of nuclear energy will only lead to the country missing its 2030 carbon emissions target, 25 leading foreign and German environmentalists, journalists and academics have written in an open letter to the German public. They call on German politicians to be "brave enough" to change legislation to at least postpone the shutdown of the country's reactors." Link
The rising energy prices, Russian gas pipelines and even Poland Belarus arguments could make the choice to turn away an impossible option for Germany very quickly?
Not suggesting Germany is needed. It might be the cherry on top in my view.
