What I expect is for ASIC to just do their job. The daily short report is published by them and a simple review of the volume of the day proves the point. This abuse of institutional shorting going into a financing, knowing they can cover from shares offered them in the placement, is a systemic problem that happens all the time across so many companies yet ASIC always turns a blind eye.
