Do you know anything about Tas?
And then, do you REALLY think they'll allow uranium mining down there?
It'd take a monumental change in thinking.
We've known about this for decades. I've spoken with my wife's family over there who have media and political connections: it ain't gonna happen as it stands.
Unfortunately for Tas, there's only so many trees to look at and cows to eat to sustain the population. Mining is needed. You know it. I know it. The Left thinks they don't need it, but we do. Imagine Tas providing Australian mined uranium (or thorium, for that matter) for nuclear power plants on the mainland?!

It just makes sense, but logic doesn't come into it when discussing with the Left.
