Yes I was quite shocked to see the US U stock not only down, but by quite a bit with the ETF down over 5%.

The sell recommendation you mentioned might have something to do with it, as would a statement from Kazataprom that everything is business as usual (which remains to seen I think).

I also feel Sprott is currently actively trying to keep the U stocks down. Rick Rule recently gave an interview that was carefully constructed to put some fear in the U stocks investor heart. And they haven't applied any of the $103M in cash they hold yet.

The reason for them to do this is to maximize the gains once they get control over the URNM ETF and possibly to increase their chances to get the NYSE listing for the SPUT.

I think (and hope) after those milestones have been achieved it will be all brakes loose.
