Some seriously crazy times are just around the corner for the uranium space.. Utilities are starting to buy pounds and buy pounds for next 5+ yrs to secure their long term contacts.. Gone are the days where there is lots pounds on the spot market.. this is being eaten up buy sprott trust as we speak . The availability is thin.. They wont care if they pay 50 or 100 a pound as it accounts for 3-5% of electricity end cost .. totally different ball game here compared to gas or coal .
A domino effect or " flywheel effect " where sprott is buying up pounds and utilities are securing long term contracts at the same time would put enormous pressure on spot prices to shoot up to $100 .. we are still at $50 ... still considered way too low in todays standard with inflationary pressures and higher costs in general .
