There are many schools of thought that make up the way share markets work and price companies/shares. I never full believed this before but I believe it more strongly now. IMO Sentiment is the main driver of shares and markets, with FA coming a poor second and TA coming third.
As for the spot price that's a huge sentiment driver as well, ask yourself this. seeing a higher U spot price make you more or less happy owning or buying more pdn?. Even more so its very important from the point I and some believe, that it guilds the long term price indicator and therefore prices $$$ PDN are able to get down the road. A bigger spot over time will/should get us higher contract prices, and of course the opposite it true.
All in my honest opinion of course.
