Size isnt I believe much of a complicating issue. Dealing with Thorium I feel is complex as it varies with hosting background sediment. Some companies in Greenland have taken many years to get their EIA fully approved showing methods accepted.. Nobody knows how big Invittuuts thorium is yet to be. It will increase with any found lode Id imagine and we only have samples to go by at this stage as shown early March. Who knows how much could be out there. But we do know its found with REEs https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0892687515001028 So if the lode of REEs is found its looking like thorium, and high levels as seen in the samples, may well be present too.
