    Bottom line is that less supply = higher price so if DOE decides to reduce release of inventory onto the market then downward pressure on uranium price with be minimised, to what extent we don't know at this stage.

    Can only see this decision as a positive going ahead and should buoy uranium stocks with time; maybe not today though lol I think every sector will cop it today.

    Agree too that DOE's consistent release of inventory may have stymied development of other projects, especially those dependent on conventional mining techniques. The fact that PEN has seen fit to go ahead (maybe because of lower capex and production costs due to ISR technique) and is at the stage it's at with PFS, plant design, drilling to achieve JORC resource etc has it well placed. This decision by the DOE is just another welcome break for the whole uranium industry.
