While they are digging the decline rock that obviously does not contain ore will be used to backfill old tunnels.
If they hit a quartz vein it will be processed by their fully functional plant at Maldon.
Additionally if they find anything interesting on the way down they may also mine that as well.
Gold will be recovered from the decline and it will pay for part of the cost.
I have heard $1M Plus should be recovered.
If they get lucky they will pay for the whole decline and more.
