But is the risk justified by current market pricing?
If the prefs were trading at par and the ordinary shares trading at anything approaching NTA I would not be holding.
The positions are have are turnaround positions.
By the way with all this talk of drops in property values, what if they actually go up in the next few years with zero interest rates on the horizon for a number of years?
