That’s what I would fear most as an investor. Poor management. MD has to go, or come back to shareholders with a very detailed explanation on what went wrong and how he is going to fix it.
His credibility in now zero. Why entrust your hard earned cash is him? The onus is on him and the board to demonstrate competence now. No free passes because rubies are ‘special’...this is business, not fantasy land.
