was part of a team involved in bidding for the ground URL now has at Roseby when CRA/RIO tendered it in the mid 90s.

Pasminco won the tender-principally to mop up the tenements near Dugald River. It then sold the remnant package to URL.

On the original tender we were focussed on the copper. Part of the team were two highly qualified metallurgists-brought in because of the native copper/oxide dominance in the copper resource figures. Our employer did not proceed given the complexity of the oxides coupled with the native copper=low recovery!

URL since it picked up the tenements has done a top job in my opinion of expanding the resource base.

Problem of metallurgy has remained however (coupled with some unfortunate shaped primary ore bodies!-banded deep sulphides laying sub parallel, difficult to wrap a mine plan around at these grades) and Peter Ingram may be a terrific explorer but he has an unfortunate track record with metallurgical issues (Menzies Gold?).
