I am a holder of VCN, and im not sure whether this is the best deal they could do, or whether it is just the best they could find. Either way, it has been a long time coming for VCN holders...

For those who own URL, be aware that VCN has some wonderful assets in Finland, and only reason they are not mining at the moment is due to offtake issues - GFC resulted in decommissioning of offtake partner's smelter.

I would assume the game plan is to get the Roseby project off the ground, build up some cash, then look to head back to Finland and get Kylylahti recommissioned.

Seems to be a win/win in the overall scheme of things...

Personally, I'd rather see some Aussie companies (and stakeholders) getting the benefits of these projects, rather than blowing the project and resources off to the Chinese for a few million...
