And when they sell all of their American assets, they might have to sell at 10% to 20% discount. This might lock in a €2bil loss for the year which will spook the market. I would also expect that they would not have to pay tax for that year and can pocket all of the dividends they would otherwise have to pay us with no tax. The LVR would be much better. It is hard to say which way the share price will go in 2023.
