US treasury prices rose on Tuesday (yields lower) as bargain hunters stepped in after recent sharp declines. There was good response to the sale of $24 billion in three-year notes. US Treasury will sell $24 billion in 10-year notes on Wednesday and $16 billion in 30-year bonds on Thursday. US 2 year yields fell by 2 points to 0.608 per cent while US 10 year yields fell by 3 points to 2.26 per cent.
