    Every time gold hits US$1000 on the way up we celebrate with a glass of Penfold's Bin 95 Grange Shiraz.

    Gold is currently over US$998, so we're getting ready for another US$1000 gold celebration.

    But with gold going over and under US$1000 numerous times in an evening it is costing us a small fortune - Penfold's Bin 95 Grange Shiraz doesn't exactly come at $10 a bottle -plus we have to admit we're having a few too many drinks celebrating $US1000 gold.

    So please Gold Cartel, just accept that gold is eventually going to get well over US$1000 and stay there no matter what you do, so stop pushing gold back under US$1000.

    Honestly. How many drinks do you expect us to have?
