I am glad to see gold over $1k US, but it means little in the face of things, gold has been much softer than one would expect. Its gains have been achieved on the back of the sick USD. It's like winning a race because the other runners tripped and fell over, you've all seen the youtube videos, you know what I mean.



I am long term bullish on gold, but I wouldnt say gold has been strong lately at all, it's been just the opposite.
